The Visionaries
Rafael Viñoly Architetti
Architecture
The late Rafael Viñoly designed 432 Park Avenue as an expression of the Manhattan grid. The regular grid of exposed concrete members creates an open basket within which seven independent buildings stack up, separated by open loggias. The 10x10-foot windows were inspired by a 1905 Josef Hoffmann waste basket.
Deborah Berke Partner
Interior Design
Deborah Berke designed the interiors with Palladian-proportioned rooms that exploit the building's extraordinary 12-foot-6-inch finished ceilings. Solid oak flooring, marble bathrooms with freestanding soaking tubs, Molteni kitchens with marble countertops, and Dornbracht fixtures throughout.
Between 56th and 57th Streets
432 Park Avenue rises on the east side of Billionaires' Row, bridging Park Avenue and 57th Street. The building offers proximity to Central Park, the finest shopping, and Manhattan's most exclusive dining.
